Built from solid carbide and finished with a PVD-applied TiAlN/TiN coating, this insert delivers wear resistance across a wide range of workpiece materials. It carries the CP500 manufacturer grade and fits the 22NR insert style. With a 0.5000-inch inscribed circle and a thickness of 0.1854 inches, it seats precisely in compatible Snap Tap toolholders. The 60-degree included angle is standard for UN thread forms, and the right-hand orientation suits the majority of internal threading applications on CNC lathes and turning centers.
This insert is intended for internal threading operations producing Unified National (UN) thread forms. It is classified for use across universal workpiece material categories, including ISO material groups K, M, N, P, and S, making it applicable to cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, and heat-resistant superalloys.
