The SECO 00059839 is a TNMG544-M5 triangular carbide turning insert with a TP40 manufacturer grade and a multilayer CVD coating system consisting of TiC, TiCN, and TiN. It features a 5/8-inch (0.6250 inch) inscribed circle, a 1/16-inch (0.0630 inch) corner radius, and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style. The insert carries a negative rake geometry with a neutral hand orientation and a 0-degree relief angle (clearance code N, tolerance code M). It is designed for general turning operations on steel and stainless steel workpieces and is installed by CNC machinists and toolroom technicians.

This insert is suited for residential and commercial machine shop environments running CNC lathes and turning centers. Its M5 chip breaker geometry supports back turning, boring, facing, and standard OD turning applications.
