The SECO 00059780 is a replaceable drill tip designed for use with Crownloc modular drilling systems. Manufactured from solid carbide with a physical vapor deposition (PVD) TiAlN coating, this tip delivers heat resistance and wear performance in demanding cutting applications. The tip measures 0.6090 inches (15.48 mm) in cutting diameter with a 140-degree included point angle and a helical, regular-spiral flute configuration. Two flutes channel chips away from the cutting zone efficiently. It is sized for trade and industrial machinists working in high-production or precision drilling environments where insert-style tooling is standard.
This drill tip is suited for drilling operations in stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, corresponding to ISO workpiece material codes M, N, S, and H. The Crownloc style and M insert geometry make it a direct fit for compatible Crownloc modular drill bodies. It is commonly used in CNC machining centers and production environments requiring repeatable hole quality without regrinding full-length drills. Minimum order quantity is 2 units; package quantity is 1.
Designed for use with SECO Crownloc modular drill bodies accepting SD100-15.48-M series replaceable tips with M insert geometry.
Replaceable drill tip installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the spindle powered down and locked out. Use the correct clamping torque tool as specified by the drill body manufacturer for the Crownloc system. Inspect the seating pocket and clamping surfaces for chips or debris before installing the new tip. Do not force the tip into the pocket; proper seating is confirmed by flush, even contact across the locating surfaces.
