The 140-degree included point angle promotes self-centering entry and reduces thrust forces during penetration. At 11mm (0.4331 inches) tip height, the SD100 platform provides a rigid, repeatable seat for the replaceable tip insert, minimizing runout and extending body life across multiple tip changes. Through-coolant capability channels cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge for chip evacuation and thermal control.
