The SECO 00043250 is a right-hand SCLC-style indexable turning toolholder designed for use on CNC and manual lathes in general turning operations. It features a neutral rake angle of 0 degrees and a screw-lock insert holding method, which provides secure, repeatable insert clamping during cut. The toolholder accepts CC..43. series inserts, including the CCMT 432, and is built from steel for durability under continuous cutting loads. With a 1 inch by 1 inch square shank and an overall length of 5 inches, it is sized for standard toolpost and turret applications across a broad range of turning centers.
This toolholder is suited for external turning operations in both production and job-shop environments. The SCLC style with a -5 degree lead angle and right-hand cutting direction makes it appropriate for straight turning and light facing passes. The universal material compatibility rating means it can be used across a wide range of workpiece materials, from carbon steels and stainless steels to aluminum, cast iron, and superalloys. It is a single-use toolholder, not a multi-use or modular design, and is sold individually.
Compatible with CC..43. series inserts, including the CCMT 432. Insert inscribed circle is 0.5 inch. Designed for use in standard lathe toolposts and turrets accepting a 1 inch by 1 inch shank. Material compatibility codes: H, K, M, N, P, S.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or indexing inserts. Ensure the shank seating surface and toolpost bore are clean and free of chips before securing the holder. Follow the machine tool manufacturer torque guidelines for toolpost fasteners when specified in the machine documentation.
