The SECO 00041126 is a right-hand A-MVPN indexable boring bar designed for internal turning operations on CNC lathes and machining centers. It accepts VNMG 332 inserts held in place by a pin-and-clamp system, delivering consistent negative-rake cutting geometry with a -5-degree rake angle and a 95-degree lead angle. The shank measures 1.25 inches in diameter and the bar has a 14-inch overall length, providing substantial reach for deep-bore applications. Through-coolant capability delivers cutting fluid directly to the insert tip, supporting extended tool life and chip evacuation in tight bore profiles. It is installed by machinists and CNC tooling specialists in production turning environments.
This boring bar is suited for single-point internal turning on machined components requiring a minimum bore diameter of 1.75 inches. The 95-degree lead angle and VNMG 332 insert compatibility make it well matched to straight-wall and near-shoulder boring passes. The right-hand cutting direction and negative rake geometry are standard for general-purpose ferrous and non-ferrous turning on horizontal and slant-bed CNC lathes. Through-coolant delivery benefits high-speed finishing and semi-finishing passes where heat and chip control are critical.
Designed for use with VNMG 332 diamond-shaped inserts with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and 3/16-inch insert thickness, using A-MVPN insert geometry on right-hand toolholder configurations.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the CNC program is placed in feed-hold or emergency-stop before changing tooling. Secure the shank in a compatible boring bar holder or turret station to the machine manufacturer's specified clamping torque range. Verify through-coolant passages are clear and connected before resuming cutting operations.
