The SECO 00023793 is a chamfer replaceable milling tip designed for use in the Minimaster MM12 modular milling system. Manufactured from carbide with a TiAlN and TiN PVD coating, this insert delivers reliable performance in demanding milling operations. It features a 45-degree lead angle and 45-degree chamfer angle, producing a 90-degree included angle at the workpiece. With a cutting diameter of 0.039 inches and a cutting width of 0.630 inches, it is suited for light to medium chamfering passes. Two flutes and an M02 chipbreaker geometry support controlled chip evacuation. Installation is handled by machinists and CNC tooling technicians working with Minimaster-compatible toolholders.
This tip is intended for use on stainless steel workpieces, corresponding to ISO material group M. It fits within the MM12 Minimaster series modular tooling platform, making it a common selection in shops running small-diameter milling operations on CNC machining centers. The right-hand cutting configuration and PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating support extended tool life in austenitic and ferritic stainless grades. No coolant-through capability is present on this tip. Sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 2.
Designed as a replaceable tip for the MM12 Minimaster series modular milling system. Compatible toolholders must accept the MM12 insert style with a 0.630-D4520P insert size designation.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing any replaceable milling tip. Use the appropriate torque wrench or tip-seating tool specified for the Minimaster toolholder to avoid over-torquing the tip seat. Inspect the tip seat and mating surfaces for chips or contamination before each installation.
