The SECO 00023714 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for the Minimaster MM08 series modular milling system. It features a 0.315 inch cutting diameter, three flutes, and a 90-degree lead angle with a 30-degree helix angle. The tip is manufactured from carbide grade F30M and carries a TiAlN plus TiN PVD coating for wear resistance across a range of workpiece materials. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.394 inches and a functional length of 0.512 inches, this tip suits slotting operations where precise depth control and consistent chip evacuation are critical. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling specialists are the primary installers of this tip type.
This milling tip is built for slotting applications in steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials, corresponding to ISO material grades P20, P30, and H10. The right-hand cut orientation and E03 chipbreaker geometry make it well suited for controlled chip flow in semi-finishing and finishing passes on CNC machining centers. Coolant-through capability supports higher cutting speeds and extended tool life in demanding production environments. It conforms to ANSI standards and is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 2 units.
Designed for use with the Minimaster MM08 series modular end mill system, insert size 0.315-A30. Suitable for machining steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials per ISO workpiece material codes P, N, and H.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom personnel familiar with modular milling systems. Ensure the mating holder bore and clamping mechanism are clean and free of chips before seating the tip. Follow the tool manufacturer torque specifications for the MM08 holder when securing the tip. Verify spindle direction and coolant-through line pressure before initiating a cut.
