The SECO 00013358 is a right-hand, neutral-rake indexable turning toolholder in the SRGC style, designed for screw-lock insert retention on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. The 1.25-inch square shank provides rigid clamping in standard tool blocks and turret stations. With a 45-degree lead angle and a 6-inch overall length, this toolholder positions RCMT32.5 inserts for effective material removal across a broad range of workpiece materials. Installation is handled by machinists and toolroom technicians as part of standard lathe setup and insert change procedures.
This toolholder suits turning applications in job shops, production turning cells, and maintenance machining environments. The neutral rake geometry and universal primary workpiece material rating make it adaptable to steel, stainless, cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, and superalloys without requiring a dedicated holder for each material family. The screw-lock holding method keeps inserts seated firmly under interrupted cuts and continuous turning passes alike.
Designed for use with RCMT32.5 inserts (complete insert compatibility: RCMT 32.5). Compatible with workpiece materials designated by codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering a universal range of turning applications.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians during lathe setup. Secure the toolholder in the turret station or tool block and torque the clamp bolts to the machine or turret manufacturer specifications before beginning any cut. Always power down the lathe and engage the machine lock before changing inserts or reseating the toolholder. Do not exceed the recommended insert size for this holder as substituting incompatible inserts can compromise screw-lock retention and create a safety hazard.
