The SCIENTIFIC CUTTING TOOLS TMLR234-24A is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal UNF threads in machined components. Built from submicron carbide and coated with AlTiN+, it handles demanding materials and elevated cutting temperatures in production environments. The tool produces 5/16-24 UNF internal threads with a 0.234-inch cutting diameter and a 0.6-inch length of cut. A long-reach design and 2.5-inch overall length make it suitable for applications where standard-reach tooling falls short. This mill is installed and run by machinists and CNC programmers working in precision metalworking, aerospace, automotive, and general manufacturing settings.

This thread mill is intended for internal threading operations on CNC machining centers. The 3-flute, right-hand helical geometry supports stable cutting and consistent thread form.
