The SCIENTIFIC CUTTING TOOLS TMLR186-20ELA is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal 1/4-20 UNC threads in a CNC machining environment. It features a 0.186-inch cutting diameter, a 0.7-inch length of cut, and an overall length of 2.5 inches. The three-flute, right-hand geometry combined with an AlTiN+ coating supports extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The submicron carbide grade provides edge stability under demanding cutting conditions. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool.

This thread mill is suited for internal thread milling applications in production and job-shop environments where a single tool must produce a clean 1/4-20 UNC thread form. The long-reach design allows access to threads in deeper bores or recessed features.
