The 4-flute, right-hand helical design with a 0.4950-inch cutting diameter and 1.3380-inch length of cut allows full-thread-depth engagement in a single helical interpolation pass. At 4.0000 inches overall length, this is a long-reach configuration, making it practical for threading deeper bores where standard-reach tools cannot reach the required depth.

This thread mill is suited for internal UNF thread generation in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where thread milling is preferred over tapping - particularly in interrupted cuts, blind holes, or hard materials where tap breakage risk is a concern.
