Schneider Electric LUCA12BL is a standard control unit designed for integration into power bases LUB12, LUB32, or LUB38. This assembly forms a complete TeSys U starter controller intended for three-phase motor applications, capable of handling up to five point five kilowatts at four hundred volts. The control unit safeguards motors with a rated current adjustment ranging from three to twelve amps. It includes features such as overload protection, short circuit protection at thirteen times maximum rated current, and safeguards against phase loss and insulation faults.

This model requires a twenty-four volt DC power supply to control the starter through control terminals A1 and A2 located in the power base. It is certified when used with a compatible LUB power base and complies with multiple safety standards including IEC, UL, and CSA, as well as being RoHS and REACh compliant.
