The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC GVAU415 is an undervoltage release accessory designed for use with compatible GV-series and TeSys motor circuit breakers. An undervoltage release trips the breaker automatically when line voltage drops below a set threshold, protecting motors and connected loads from low-voltage conditions that can cause overheating or stalled-rotor damage. This accessory mounts directly to the breaker without tools in most configurations and is installed by licensed electricians during panel assembly or motor control center work. It measures 3.6 inches in length, 3.3 inches in width, and 1.4 inches in height, making it a compact addition to existing breaker assemblies.
The GVAU415 is suited for industrial and commercial motor control applications where automatic disconnection on voltage loss or brownout is required. Typical installations include motor starters, machine control panels, and pump or conveyor control circuits using GV2 or GV3 series breakers. It is appropriate for both new panel builds and retrofit upgrades where undervoltage protection needs to be added to an existing circuit breaker.
Designed for use with SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC GV2L, GV2LE, GV2ME, GV2P, GV3L, GV3P, and TeSys series motor circuit breakers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the NEC and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before attaching or removing any accessory from a circuit breaker. Verify that the host breaker model is listed in the compatible series before installation. Do not force the accessory into position; proper alignment with the breaker mounting interface is required for correct operation.
