The SCHIER PRODUCTS 8010-012-01 is a 5-inch tall Fast Pitch Riser designed for buried grease interceptors, solids interceptors, and sampling ports that require grade adjustment in the field. Built from lightweight, durable polyethylene, this riser installs quickly using an intuitive twist-and-lock design that eliminates the need for custom-fabricated risers. It is compatible with interceptor covers measuring 24 inches in diameter. The field-cut design allows installers to trim the riser body on-site to achieve precise finished grade elevation, reducing project delays and keeping installation schedules on track.
This riser is used in commercial and light-industrial plumbing applications where buried grease interceptors or solids interceptors must be brought to grade after installation. Typical scenarios include new construction and retrofit jobs where final grade elevation is not determined until late in the project schedule. Plumbing contractors install this accessory directly over the interceptor body, stacking multiple units as needed to reach the correct height. Up to 17 FP24 risers can be stacked in a single assembly. Each riser is sold individually, allowing installers to purchase only the quantity required for each job.
Designed for use with buried grease interceptors, solids interceptors, and sampling ports fitted with 24-inch covers. Compatible with the FP24 riser system; up to 17 risers may be stacked per assembly.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing code and applicable IPC requirements. Confirm the interceptor is depressurized and that all service flow is stopped before beginning riser work. Trim the riser body to the required height using standard cutting tools before securing with the twist-and-lock connection. Verify gasket seating at each joint before backfilling to ensure a watertight assembly.
