The SANUS LEGRAND CFR1610-B1 is a 10U knock-down open-frame rack designed for structured cabling, network equipment, and server installations. Sold as a single unit, it ships in a disassembled configuration for easier freight handling and storage before deployment. The knock-down design allows field assembly without specialized tools, making it practical for installers working in server rooms, wiring closets, and equipment rooms. At 10U of usable rack space, it accommodates a moderate density of patch panels, switches, and other rack-mount gear in a compact footprint.
This rack is suited for low-voltage and structured cabling applications in both commercial and light industrial environments. Typical installations include telecom closets, small server rooms, audio-visual equipment bays, and data distribution points. Network technicians, low-voltage integrators, and IT infrastructure teams are the primary installers. The 10U capacity makes it a practical choice where a full 42U floor-standing enclosure is not warranted but a proper rack-mount solution is still required.
Designed as an OEM-style rack solution compatible with standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment following EIA-310 rack unit spacing conventions.
Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians or structured cabling professionals. Power down and de-energize any adjacent active equipment before mounting components in the rack. Secure the assembled rack to the floor or wall per local building codes and the manufacturer assembly instructions before loading equipment. Follow ANSI and TIA-942 guidelines for equipment room rack placement and cable management.
