The SANDVIK COROMANT 8036854 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. Built on the CoroMill Dura series platform, it features a 5/8 inch (0.6250 inch) mill diameter, five flutes, and a variable helix and variable index geometry that reduces chatter and improves surface finish in aggressive cutting conditions. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting applications. This single-end tool is right-hand cutting with right-hand flute direction and is center-cutting capable, making it suitable for plunge entries and contour operations in steel, stainless, and hardened materials.
