The SANDVIK COROMANT 7861080 is a solid carbide turning insert with an ANSI designation of TCMT32.53-PR 4425 and ISO code TCMT 16 T3 12-PR 4425. Part of the CoroTurn 107 series, it carries a CVD-applied multilayer coating of Al2O3, TiCN, and TiN for high wear resistance on steel and cast iron workpieces. The triangular insert shape (60-degree included angle) provides three usable cutting edges.
