The SANDVIK COROMANT 7861065 is a TCMT-style triangular turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on steel and cast iron workpieces. It carries the manufacturer grade 4425 with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of Al2O3, TiN, and TiCN for extended tool life and heat resistance at the cutting edge. The insert features a 7/32 inch inscribed circle, a 1/32 inch corner radius, a 60-degree included angle, and a neutral hand orientation. The PM chip breaker geometry controls chip flow across a broad range of depths of cut and feed rates.
