The SANDVIK COROMANT 7859068 is a DNMG-style indexable turning insert from the T-Max P series, designed for external turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured from solid carbide with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN, it delivers thermal resistance and wear protection suited for continuous and interrupted cuts. The insert features a 55-degree diamond shape, a 0.5 inch (12.70 mm) inscribed circle, a 1.19 mm (0.0469 inch) corner radius, and a neutral hand orientation.
