The SANDVIK COROMANT 7564459 is a solid carbide milling insert designed for use in R210 series face and shoulder milling cutters. The insert carries a three-layer CVD coating — TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN — under the manufacturer grade designation 4340, which targets general-purpose cutting across steel, stainless steel, and cast iron applications. The square insert geometry features a 90-degree included angle, a positive 10-degree rake angle, and a corner-rounded cutting edge style with a 1.40 mm corner radius. Four cutting edges are available per insert, extending tool life between index events. Machining professionals in production shops and job shops working on CNC milling centers are the primary users.

Installation Notes
