The SANDVIK COROMANT 7419255 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in superalloys and titanium. It features a 10 mm cutting diameter, a 1 mm corner radius, and five helical flutes in a close-pitch configuration. The tool carries a multilayer PVD TiAlSiN coating that resists heat and wear in demanding cutting conditions. At 72 mm overall length with a 22 mm length of cut, it is built for extended-reach applications where standard-length tooling cannot reach the workzone. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers use this end mill in roughing operations on difficult-to-machine alloys in aerospace and industrial production environments.
This end mill fits applications where workpiece materials such as nickel-based superalloys, titanium alloys, and similar high-temperature materials are being roughed. The 10 mm straight-cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance mounts directly into compatible collet chucks, hydraulic chucks, or shrink-fit holders. The 9.50 mm neck diameter and 30 mm reach length provide clearance for deep-pocket and shoulder-milling operations where tool overhang is a factor. The CoroMill Plura Series 2F341 designation places this tool within a family engineered for multi-axis machining centers operating at high feed rates in difficult materials.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 10 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material classification is superalloys and titanium (material code S). Part of the SANDVIK COROMANT CoroMill Plura Series 2F341.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool-change sequence is complete before handling or measuring the tool. Seat the shank fully in the holder and torque retention screws or collet nuts according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout at the cutting diameter before beginning a production cut, particularly in extended-reach setups where deflection tolerance is tight.
