The tip is manufactured from solid carbide with a fine-grain material grade, designated Grade 4334. Insert geometry is PM with an insert seat size of 23. The helical flute design and regular spiral type support efficient chip evacuation in a range of workpiece materials. This tip is installed by machinists and tooling technicians working with CNC drilling operations.
