The SANDVIK COROMANT 7357935 is a replaceable drill tip designed for the CoroDrill 870 modular drilling system. This solid carbide insert features a 0.75-inch cutting diameter, a 152-degree point angle, and a TiAlN PVD coating applied over a fine-grain carbide substrate in Grade 4334. It seats into a Size 19 insert pocket and is held in place by a clamp. The GP insert geometry supports solid drilling operations across a broad range of workpiece materials. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and machine-tool technicians working with precision hole-making equipment recognize this tip as a direct interchange component for the CoroDrill 870 platform.
This drill tip is suited for solid drilling applications in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys including titanium, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, N, and S. It is intended for use in CNC machining centers and turning centers where the CoroDrill 870 holder is already installed. The helical flute configuration and regular spiral type make it appropriate for high-feed production drilling in both job-shop and production-line environments where insert-seat Size 19 holders are in service.
Designed as a direct replacement tip for CoroDrill 870 series holders fitted with an Insert Seat Size 19. ISO Number 870-1905-19-GP 4334 identifies the specific holder and seat pairing required.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before removing or seating any replaceable drill tip. Use the correct torque wrench and clamp key specified for the CoroDrill 870 holder to avoid over-torquing the clamping screw and damaging the insert pocket. Inspect the insert seat for chips or debris before seating the new tip, and verify that the functional length registers correctly against the holder shoulder before returning the tool to service.
