The GM chipbreaker geometry promotes controlled chip evacuation, reducing the risk of chip packing in deep-hole drilling. With a 12.65 mm (0.4980 inch) inscribed circle and a 0.60 mm (0.0236 inch) corner radius, the insert is sized for precision fitment in the 880-series tooling platform.
