The SANDVIK COROMANT 6428072 is a solid carbide milling insert designed for use in R390 series shoulder milling cutters. It carries the ANSI and ISO designation R390-18 06 20M-KM 3330 and features a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN in the manufacturer grade 3330. The parallelogram insert shape with a 90-degree included angle and positive 5-degree rake angle reduces cutting forces and promotes clean chip evacuation. With a maximum depth of cut of 16.00 mm, it handles productive roughing and semi-finishing passes.
