The tool carries a TiAlN PVD coating applied via physical vapor deposition, which improves heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. Four helical flutes with a high helix style and right-hand cutting direction provide efficient chip evacuation. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry.
