The SANDVIK COROMANT 6260135 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill engineered for precision milling in demanding materials. Part of the Series 2P341, it features a 6 mm cutting diameter, a 13 mm length of cut, and a 0.15 mm chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle. The tool carries a TiAlN PVD coating applied via physical vapor deposition, which improves heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. Four helical flutes with a high helix style and right-hand cutting direction provide efficient chip evacuation. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry. With a 57 mm overall length and a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank, this end mill is designed for use in CNC machining centers by machinists and tooling specialists.
This end mill is rated for roughing operations with a primary workpiece material designation of M and S, covering stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. These material groups represent some of the most tool-demanding alloys in aerospace, medical, and energy component manufacturing. The normal pitch and high helix style support stable cutting engagement in work-hardening materials. The straight-cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance ensures consistent tool holding in standard collet and hydraulic chuck systems. This tool is appropriate for job shops and production facilities machining difficult-to-cut alloys where coating performance and edge geometry are critical.
Designed as an OEM-specification solid carbide end mill for CNC machining centers accepting a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Optimized for milling stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium per primary workpiece material codes M and S.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machining center spindle before loading or changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in a collet, hydraulic chuck, or shrink-fit holder rated for the 6 mm shank diameter and verify runout before cutting. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended cutting parameters for the workpiece material group.
