The SANDVIK COROMANT 5758837 is a Series 327 replaceable chamfer milling tip designed for indexable milling tool systems used in precision metal removal applications. Built from carbide with a TiAlN and TiN PVD coating, this right-hand tip carries manufacturer grade 1025 for extended wear resistance in demanding cuts. The cutting diameter measures 0.8543 inches, maximum depth of cut is 0.0669 inches, and functional length is 0.2303 inches. Three flutes and a 45-degree lead angle with a 90-degree included angle make this tip well suited for chamfering operations on steel and other metals. Licensed machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary installers.

This milling tip is intended for use in Series 327 indexable milling toolholders and is designed to machine steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys including titanium. Material grades covered include P10, P20, P30, M10, M20, S10, S20, N10, and N20. The 45-degree chamfer angle and 90-degree included angle make it a direct selection for chamfering edges and deburring operations on structural and alloy components in production or job-shop environments. Coolant-through delivery is not supported on this tip style.

Installation Notes

Ensure the toolholder pocket is clean and free of chips or debris before seating the tip. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or indexing any cutting insert. Do not exceed the toolholder maximum speed and depth-of-cut ratings for this insert size.
