The SANDVIK COROMANT 5730657 is a solid carbide turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Carrying the ISO designation DCMX 11 T3 04-WF 1125, it features a 55-degree diamond shape with a neutral hand orientation and a wiper edge geometry (WF chip breaker) that supports high surface finish and improved chip control. The insert is coated with TiAlN and AlCr2O3 applied via a PVD coating process, providing thermal resistance and wear protection. With a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 0.0156-inch corner radius, this insert is suited for medium to finishing passes where accuracy and edge integrity are critical. It is held in place by a screw-clamping system and is compatible with toolholders specified for the CoroTurn 107 series.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician.
