The SAKRETE OF NORTH AMERICA 65455001 is a self-bonding concrete patcher formulated to resurface broken, chipped, or spalled concrete surfaces. It delivers a clean, uniform finish and is designed for trowel-on application, eliminating the need for a separate bonding agent before placement. The material bonds directly to existing concrete substrates, making it a practical choice for patching horizontal slabs, steps, curbs, and flatwork. Each unit contains 10 pounds of dry-mix material and is activated by adding water on site. Licensed contractors and experienced repair crews will find the mix straightforward to proportion and apply.
This patcher is suited for residential and light commercial flatwork repair where a thin-section overlay or spot repair is needed. Typical applications include filling surface voids, restoring worn step nosings, and evening out shallow spalls on driveways, sidewalks, patios, and garage floors. The product can also be brushed on as a slurry coat for very thin surface restoration work. Each case contains 4 units, each at 10 pounds, giving a combined case weight of 40 pounds.
Designed as an OEM-style patching material for use on existing portland-cement concrete surfaces including slabs, steps, and horizontal flatwork where thin-section repair is appropriate.
Surface preparation is critical — remove all loose material, dirt, oil, and standing water before applying the mix. Follow ASTM and local building code requirements for concrete repair work on structural or load-bearing surfaces. Do not apply to frozen substrates or when ambient temperatures are expected to drop below acceptable curing thresholds. Allow adequate cure time before returning the surface to foot or vehicle traffic.
