Safety Technology Int'l Inc STI-6400 Emergency Door Alarm

Product Description

The SAFETY TECHNOLOGY INT'L INC STI-6400 is an emergency door alarm designed to alert personnel when a monitored door is opened without authorization. The unit mounts directly to the door and activates an audible alarm upon door opening, providing a fast, low-cost deterrent against unauthorized egress or entry. It is suitable for commercial and light industrial facilities where door monitoring is required without a full access-control infrastructure. Licensed electricians and security system installers typically handle permanent installations of this type of device.

The STI-6400 is used in commercial buildings, schools, warehouses, and similar facilities where an audible alert on a specific door is needed. It is commonly installed on emergency exit doors, stairwell doors, and service entrances to discourage unauthorized use and provide immediate acoustic notification. The device falls within the Door Closers, Holders, and Alarms category, making it a practical fit for basic door-monitoring applications across a range of facility types.
