The RWC UR120A is a 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch male NPT straight push-to-connect adapter made from one-piece DZR brass. It connects copper, PEX, or CPVC tubing to a male iron pipe thread port without solder, glue, or special tools. The fitting is rated for 200 psi and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both hot and cold domestic water lines. It is NSF 61 certified and meets UPC and IAPMO standards. Lead content on wetted surfaces is held to no more than 0.25% weighted average, meeting current lead-free requirements. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers install this fitting in residential and light commercial water distribution systems.
This adapter is well suited for residential water supply lines where a quick, reliable transition from tubing to a threaded male port is needed. Common applications include connecting flexible PEX runs to valves, manifolds, or fixtures with 1/2-inch MNPT inlets. Because the fitting is approved for burial and concealed installation behind drywall, it works in rough-in scenarios where access after installation is limited. The fitting ships individually bagged and is sold as a single unit.
Compatible with copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing in 1/2-inch size. Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for residential and light commercial potable water distribution systems using 1/2-inch male NPT threaded ports.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified tradespeople in jurisdictions where code requires it. Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before connecting or disconnecting the fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the end is fully inserted to the depth mark before pressurizing the line. To remove the fitting, use a manufacturer-approved disconnect clip — do not attempt removal with pliers or other tools that could damage the collet.
