The RWC UIP134A is a SharkBite push-to-connect fitting designed to transition between a push-fit connection and a male NPT threaded adapter on PVC pipe. The white collar is compatible with Schedule 40, 80, and 120 PVC pipe as well as Schedule 40 and 80 CPVC. The push-to-connect design eliminates the need for soldering, glue, unions, or specialty tools, making it a practical choice for plumbers working on potable water distribution systems. Once installed, the fitting can rotate on the pipe, which simplifies work in confined or tight spaces. A disconnect clip is included for removal and reinstallation flexibility.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial potable water distribution applications. It is certified for use in underground installations and behind-the-wall applications where access panels are not provided. The corrosion-resistant construction supports long service life in both exposed and concealed piping runs. Plumbers and pipefitters working on PVC or CPVC water supply systems will find this fitting appropriate for connecting threaded male NPT components directly to push-fit piping without transition hardware or additional adapters.
Designed for use with Schedule 40, 80, and 120 PVC pipe and Schedule 40 and 80 CPVC pipe in 3/4 inch diameter. Connects push-fit piping to 3/4 inch male NPT threaded fittings or components.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with UPC, IPC, and cUPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before fitting removal or reinstallation. Ensure pipe ends are cut cleanly and deburred before inserting into the push-fit collar. Use the included disconnect clip when removing the fitting to avoid damaging the pipe or internal components.
