The RWC UC134LFA is a 3/4-inch CF x 3/4-inch male NPT (MNPT) PEX barb threaded adapter manufactured from lead-free DZR brass. It is designed to transition PEX tubing to a threaded male connection in potable water distribution and hydronic heating systems. The barb end accepts either a stainless steel clamp system or a copper crimp ring system, both sold separately. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in residential and light commercial applications where a reliable, code-compliant PEX-to-threaded connection is required.
This adapter is suited for use in potable water supply lines and hydronic heating loops. It is commonly installed where PEX tubing must connect to threaded male ports on valves, manifolds, water heaters, or other threaded plumbing components. The lead-free DZR brass construction meets drinking water material standards, making it appropriate for direct use in domestic water systems. Its compact, single-piece design reduces the number of joints required at the transition point.
Approved for use in potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications. Compatible with PEX tubing installed using either a stainless steel clamp system or a copper crimp ring system (each sold separately). Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for standard 3/4-inch PEX plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making any connections. The barb end requires a properly sized clamp or crimp ring tool to achieve a watertight seal — do not omit the clamp or crimp ring. Inspect the MNPT threads for damage before assembly and use appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape on the threaded connection.
