Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure before attempting to disconnect any push-fit fitting. Slide the demount clip evenly around the pipe at the fitting collar and push toward the fitting body to release the collet before withdrawing the pipe. Follow local plumbing codes and the fitting manufacturer's instructions for disconnection procedures.
