The Ruud RHMV2417SEACJA air handler has an 18,000 BtuH capacity and a width of seventeen and a half inches. It is designed with an electronic expansion valve (EEV) that automatically adjusts to meet the system's needs. The system uses a vapor line pressure transducer and thermistor to optimize EEV performance by calculating suction superheat. This unit can be installed in multiple orientations including upflow, downflow, horizontal left, or horizontal right.
