The RUST-OLEUM S6501410 is a 100 percent solids, high-build epoxy floor coating formulated for industrial and commercial concrete surfaces that see heavy daily punishment. Part of the Rust-Oleum Concrete Saver 6500 System, this single-gallon gloss component delivers excellent resistance to abrasion and impact, withstands intermittent chemical spills and splashes, and holds up to repeated power washing. It is designed for licensed flooring applicators and industrial maintenance crews working in warehouses, laboratories, manufacturing floors, and similar high-traffic environments. VOC content is below 100 g/l, making it compliant nationwide.
This coating is suited for new, old, bare, or previously coated concrete floors. Typical applications include warehouse floors, laboratory spaces, distribution centers, and other facilities where rubber-tired vehicle traffic and occasional chemical exposure are part of daily operations. The 6500 System is also accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities and meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact, making it a practical choice for food-adjacent industrial environments. The 1-gallon size is sold as the base color component; the activator must be ordered separately to complete the two-component system.
Designed for application over new, old, bare, or previously coated concrete floors as part of the Rust-Oleum Concrete Saver 6500 System. Compatible for use with Rust-Oleum 108 Cleaning Etching Solution and Decorative Vinyl Chips. Requires the corresponding 6500 System activator, sold separately.
Application should be performed by experienced flooring or industrial maintenance professionals familiar with two-component epoxy systems. Concrete must be properly cleaned, etched, and fully dry before coating is applied; use of the recommended etching solution is advised for surface preparation. Mix base and activator components according to manufacturer instructions before application, and ensure adequate ventilation throughout the process. Follow all applicable local and federal safety codes for industrial coating work.
