The RUST-OLEUM GO326 is a water-based liquid deglosser and surface prep solution designed to chemically scuff existing finishes without mechanical sanding. The formula wipes on and wipes off, promoting adhesion of new coatings to previously finished surfaces. Ready to topcoat in as little as 10 minutes, it works on all paints, polyurethane, lacquer, and varnish, as well as prepping walls for wallpaper. Unlike solvent-based degreasers, it requires no rinsing after application and produces no harmful vapors, making it suitable for use in occupied or poorly ventilated spaces. Painters, finish carpenters, and general contractors are the primary installers of this product.

The GO326 is used in residential and light commercial painting and refinishing applications where sanding existing finishes is impractical or time-consuming.
