The RUST-OLEUM 9465402 is a two-component, high-gloss polyester urethane topcoat engineered for maximum corrosion resistance in severe service environments. Supplied in a 1-gallon container in red with a gloss finish, this coating is part of the 9400 System and requires a separately ordered activator before application. It delivers ultra-high gloss retention alongside strong resistance to impact, abrasion, and aggressive chemicals including muriatic acid. Licensed painters, industrial coating contractors, and maintenance professionals apply this product in facilities and field environments where standard topcoats fall short.

This coating is intended for use on vehicles, structural steel, storage tanks, and similar substrates exposed to severe coastal, offshore, or chemically aggressive conditions. The 9400 System is also accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities and meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact, making it suitable for processing plant infrastructure and food-adjacent equipment.
