Rust-oleum 633402 Paint Thinner 1 Gallon Can 450 Gl Voc

Product Description

The RUST-OLEUM 633402 is a mineral-based paint thinner supplied in a 1-gallon can with a VOC content of 450 grams per liter. It is formulated to thin oil-based paints, stains, and varnishes to the correct application viscosity, and to clean brushes, rollers, and spray equipment after use. This product belongs in the shop or jobsite wherever solvent-borne coatings are part of the work. Painting contractors, maintenance techs, and industrial coatings professionals reach for it as a straightforward, general-purpose thinner that handles both mix-down and cleanup tasks in a single container.

This paint thinner is suited for residential and commercial painting applications where oil-based or alkyd coatings are specified. It is used during brush application to adjust coating flow and leveling, and after the job to flush out brushes, rollers, and spray gun components. The 1-gallon can size supports single-day projects or routine equipment cleaning without the overhead of larger bulk containers. It is appropriate for use in both shop and field environments where proper ventilation is maintained.

Installation Notes

Paint thinner is handled by painting contractors, industrial maintenance technicians, and coatings applicators. Always work in a well-ventilated area and keep ignition sources away from open containers, as solvent vapors are flammable. Consult local and regional VOC regulations before use, as a 450 gL VOC product may be restricted in some air-quality management districts. Store sealed containers away from heat sources and dispose of solvent-soaked rags and waste material in accordance with applicable hazardous-waste regulations.
