Product Description

The RUST-OLEUM 334018 is a 12 oz aerosol primer in red with a flat finish, designed for fast application on wood surfaces in both indoor and outdoor environments. The pressurized can delivers a tack-free surface in approximately 20 minutes, making it a practical choice for prep work on jobsites or in the shop where turnaround time matters. Coverage runs up to 12 square feet per can. It is typically applied by carpenters, finish contractors, and general tradespeople as a preparatory coat before topcoat application on wood substrates.

This primer is suited for residential and light commercial applications where wood surfaces require a bonding base coat prior to painting. It performs in interior settings such as trim work, cabinets, and wood panels, as well as exterior applications where quick-drying primers reduce workflow delays. The aerosol format eliminates the need for brushes, rollers, or sprayer setup, making it a convenient option for small surface areas and touch-up work.
