The RUST-OLEUM 320261 is a two-component phenalkamine epoxy coating from the 9200 System line, formulated for high-performance corrosion protection across a wide range of industrial and commercial substrates. This self-priming, direct-to-metal high-build epoxy delivers excellent surface wetting and fast dry times, making it a practical choice for projects where downtime is limited. It carries low HAPS content and is certified under NSF/ANSI/CAN 600 for use in potable water storage tanks with a minimum capacity of 4,000 gallons. Licensed coating contractors and industrial painters are the primary installers of this product.
The 320261 is suited for both atmospheric and water immersion service environments. Its low-temperature cure capability allows application in conditions where conventional epoxies would struggle to perform. The extended recoat window makes it compatible with a variety of Rust-Oleum topcoats, supporting multi-coat system builds. It is appropriate for use on damp surfaces, expanding its usability in field conditions where surface moisture cannot always be fully controlled. This 5-gallon unit ships in Safety Yellow with a gloss finish.
Compatible with many Rust-OLEUM topcoats for multi-coat system builds. This is a two-component system — base color and activator must be ordered separately. Suitable for a variety of substrates including metal surfaces in both atmospheric and water immersion service conditions.
This product is a two-component epoxy and must be mixed prior to application — follow manufacturer mix ratios before use. Application should be performed by experienced coating contractors familiar with epoxy systems, surface preparation standards, and applicable safety regulations. Ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed spaces when applying solvent-borne coatings. Review all SDS documentation and local VOC compliance requirements before application.
