This high-build epoxy delivers excellent corrosion protection, strong surface wetting, and fast dry times. It is a self-priming coating with low HAPs content, making it suitable for facilities with air-quality compliance requirements. Available in a 5-gallon unit, it ships as a base color component — the activator is ordered separately. Licensed coating applicators and industrial painters are the primary installers of this product.
This coating is designed for a wide range of substrates including steel, concrete, and masonry in both atmospheric and immersion service conditions. It can be applied at low temperatures and tolerates damp surfaces, making it practical for maintenance painting in cold or humid conditions. The 9200 System is certified for use in potable water storage tanks with a minimum capacity of 4,000 gallons in accordance with NSF/ANSI/CAN 600, making it appropriate for municipal and commercial water storage applications. It also supports an extended recoat window for atmospheric exposures and is compatible with many RUST-OLEUM topcoats.
Suitable for use on a variety of substrates including steel and masonry; rated for immersion service and compatible with many RUST-OLEUM topcoat systems. Certified per NSF/ANSI/CAN 600 for potable water storage tanks with a minimum 4,000 gallon capacity.
Application should be performed by qualified coating applicators familiar with two-component epoxy systems. Always mix base and activator components according to manufacturer ratio instructions before application. Ensure the substrate is properly prepared — clean, dry or damp-tolerant per product guidelines — before coating. Follow applicable local VOC regulations and ventilation requirements during application and cure.
