The RUNTAL RUNTUF-8-36 is a welded steel hydronic baseboard radiator rated at 5430 BTU/h, designed for residential and light commercial hot water heating systems. Built on the UF-8 panel radiator platform, this unit measures 36 inches in length, 24 inches in height, and 1.625 inches in depth, making it a low-profile solution for perimeter heating applications. The unit ships with the heating element included. Connections are 1/2-inch female threaded fittings, compatible with standard hydronic supply and return piping. Licensed plumbers and hydronic heating technicians are the primary installers for this type of equipment.
This baseboard radiator is suited for perimeter heating in residential rooms, offices, and similar light commercial spaces where a slim wall-mounted profile is required. The UF-8 model is a panel-style unit that delivers radiant and convective heat output through its welded steel construction. At 36 inches long and 24 inches tall, it fits well beneath windows and along exterior walls where heat loss is greatest, a common design strategy in hydronic heating layouts. No separate heating element purchase is required, as the element is included with the unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install baseboard radiator for residential and light commercial hydronic heating systems using 1/2-inch female threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified hydronic heating technician in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes. Shut down the boiler and depressurize the hydronic circuit before disconnecting or connecting any piping. Ensure the system is properly flushed and filled to the correct operating pressure before startup. Do not overtighten threaded connections on the steel fittings — use appropriate pipe sealant rated for hydronic heating systems.
