Manufactured from SAE 1060-1090 spring steel (UNS G10600-G10900) with a cadmium-plated finish, this ring seats in a machined external groove on a 1.375-inch diameter shaft. The groove diameter is 1.291 inches with a ring thickness of 0.050 inches. Hardness is rated at 47-52 HRC, providing the spring tension needed to maintain a firm seat under load.
