The ROTOR CLIP HO-75ST PA is a heavy-duty internal snap retaining ring designed to secure components within a bore by seating in a machined groove. Manufactured from 1060/1090 spring steel with a phosphate finish, this ring provides reliable axial retention in high-load assemblies. The bore diameter is 0.75 inches, with a free outer diameter of 0.831 inches and a ring thickness of 0.035 inches. Thrust load capacity reaches 1,460 pounds at the groove safety factor and 3,045 pounds at the ring safety factor, making it suitable for demanding industrial and mechanical applications. Licensed machinists, millwrights, and mechanical assemblers typically install this type of retaining ring.
This internal retaining ring is used in applications where a shaft-mounted component must be axially restrained inside a housing or bore. Typical installations include gearboxes, motors, pumps, hydraulic cylinders, and other rotating or reciprocating assemblies where a positive stop is required. The phosphate finish provides moderate corrosion resistance for general industrial environments. The groove width is 0.039 inches with a groove depth of 0.023 inches, dimensioned to accept standard internal ring grooves at this bore size.
Designed as an OEM-style internal retaining ring for use in any housing or bore machined to accept a 0.75 inch internal snap ring groove with a groove width of 0.039 inches and groove depth of 0.023 inches.
Install using snap ring pliers sized for internal rings to avoid distorting the ring during seating. Ensure the bore groove is clean and free of burrs before installation, and verify groove dimensions match ring specifications before pressing into service. Always de-energize or lock out the equipment before servicing any assembly that contains retaining rings. Rings that show signs of deformation, corrosion, or fatigue should not be reused.
