The ROTOR CLIP HO-56ST PA is a heavy-duty internal snap retaining ring designed to secure components within a bored housing. Manufactured from 1060/1090 spring steel with a phosphate finish, this ring seats into a machined internal groove to provide positive axial retention without fasteners. It is suited for high-cycle mechanical assemblies where reliable component retention and corrosion resistance are required. The ring carries a thrust load capacity of 2,253 pounds at the ring safety factor and 710 pounds at the groove safety factor, making it appropriate for moderately loaded industrial and mechanical applications. This internal retaining ring is intended for use in bored housings with a 9/16-inch bore diameter. It fits a groove width of 0.039 inches with a groove depth of 0.017 inches, accommodating standard internal groove profiles machined to SAE 1060-1090 and ISO 13485:2016 specifications. Typical applications include gearboxes, pumps, motors, cylinders, and other assemblies where an internal groove is used to retain a shaft, bearing, or pin within a housing bore.
