The ROTOR CLIP HO-56SS is a stainless steel internal snap retaining ring designed for axial retention of components within a bored housing. Manufactured from 15-7 Grade 632 stainless steel, this ring delivers corrosion resistance and high spring tension in a compact profile. It seats in a machined internal groove and holds shafts, bearings, or other assemblies in position without threaded fasteners. The ring measures 0.035 inches thick with a free outer diameter of 0.62 inches and is sized for a 9/16 inch bore diameter. This internal retaining ring fits applications requiring a 9/16 inch bore groove, including rotating shaft assemblies, gearboxes, pump housings, and similar mechanical equipment found in both industrial and commercial environments. Internal snap rings require snap ring pliers with the correct tip size for internal-style rings. Power down and de-energize any equipment before disassembling housings or accessing internal retaining ring grooves. Confirm groove dimensions and ring seating fully around the groove circumference after installation. Do not over-expand the ring during installation, as excessive deflection can permanently deform the ring and reduce load capacity.
