The ROTOR CLIP HO-37SS B100 is a stainless steel internal snap retaining ring designed to secure components within a bored housing by seating in a precision-machined groove. Built from 15-7 Grade 632 stainless steel, this ring meets AMS-5529, UNS S15700, and ISO 13485:2016 standards, making it suitable for applications requiring corrosion resistance and dimensional consistency. With a ring thickness of 0.025 inches and a groove width of 0.029 inches, the HO-37SS B100 delivers reliable axial retention for shafts and assemblies where a 3/8 inch bore diameter is specified. Machinists, millwrights, and mechanical assembly technicians are the primary installers.
This internal retaining ring is used in precision mechanical assemblies across industrial, commercial, and trade applications. The 3/8 inch bore diameter and free outer diameter of 0.415 inches make it appropriate for small-bore housings in pumps, motors, gear assemblies, and related rotating equipment. It is suited for environments where stainless steel is required for corrosion resistance or compliance with ISO 13485:2016, such as fluid-handling equipment or controlled-environment machinery. Minimum order quantity is 5 units, sold individually by the package.
Designed as an OEM-style internal retaining ring for 3/8 inch bore diameter applications requiring stainless steel construction and groove dimensions of 0.029 inches width by 0.011 inches depth.
Internal snap retaining rings are installed by qualified mechanical technicians using snap ring pliers sized for internal rings. Ensure the housing groove is clean and free of burrs before seating the ring. De-energize and lock out all equipment before disassembly or ring installation. Verify groove diameter and width tolerances match the ring specifications before installation to ensure proper retention and avoid ring failure under load.
