The ROTOR CLIP HO-187SS MPS is a heavy-duty internal snap retaining ring engineered for precise axial retention in bored housings. Manufactured from 15-7 stainless steel (Grade 632), it meets military specification requirements and is suited for demanding environments where corrosion resistance and high load capacity are critical. The ring seats into a machined internal groove and holds components firmly in place without threading or welding. Groove width is 0.068 inches (1.73 mm) and ring thickness is 0.062 inches (1.57 mm). Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical technicians working on precision assemblies will find this ring consistent with OEM-grade hardware standards.
This internal retaining ring is designed for use in bored housings with a 1.875-inch bore diameter. It is applicable across a wide range of industrial and military maintenance scenarios, including pump assemblies, bearing retention, hydraulic components, and precision mechanical housings. The stainless steel construction makes it suitable for wet, corrosive, or chemically exposed environments. It is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 100 units, making it appropriate for MRO stocking and fleet-level maintenance programs.
Compatible with bored housings requiring a 1.875-inch internal groove diameter. Meets military specifications MS 16625-4037, MS 16625-4050, MS 16625-4062, MS 16625-4075, MS 16625-4087, MS 16625-4100, MS 16625-4125, MS 16625-4137, MS 16625-4150, MS 16625-4162, and MS 16625-4187.
Internal snap retaining rings require proper snap ring pliers sized for internal grooves — do not substitute external-ring tools or improvised implements, as this can damage the ring or distort the groove. Ensure the housing bore and groove dimensions match the ring specifications before installation. De-energize and depressurize any assembly before servicing components retained by this ring. Follow applicable ASME or military maintenance procedures for the host equipment.
